Whether it is a rooftop terrace, backyard or as a statement piece for the entrance of an office, Axiometal planters are an effective addition to any environment. Made from grade 316 stainless steel or 3003 H14 grade aluminum, our outdoor planters are built to last and endure even the harshest environments. All outdoor planters are built standard with drainage holes and insulation for root burn resistance. Additional irrigation system holes can also be added upon request.

joints in our planters are fully welded for strength & durability and
finished for a seamless appearance.
Aluminum is a strong lightweight metal that will not rust or corrode and can be painted. We use a heavy gauge aluminum (.125”) and outdoor grade UV resistant paint coating in an extensive range of colours. Please see the Finishes page for a full chart of all available standard colours.
Aluminum planters require minimal maintenance. To maintain the finish a regular wash with lukewarm water and mild detergent is all that is needed. We offer a broad range of colours - please specify your colour preference when ordering aluminum planters.
Stainless steel is a versatile material for planters with excellent corrosion resistant properties, and is equally attractive in contemporary or traditional surroundings. We use a heavy gauge stainless steel (16 gauge), that has a natural corrosion resistance due to its alloy composition. Please contact us for more detailed information if required.
Stainless steel planters require minimal maintenance. Grade 316
stainless steel provides added protection in outdoor environments to
prevent staining that can be caused by de-icing salts and sea-air. To
wash dirt off use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and rinse with
clean water.
Tougher stains can be removed with:
- Glass cleaners,
- Undiluted white or cider vinegar, or
- Commercial stainless steel cleaners
Always use a soft cloth for cleaning, brushed finish stainless steel has a grain; and when cleaning ensure it is cleaned in the direction of the grain. Never use scouring powders, steel wool, bleach, or silver dip to clean stainless steel.
